At school I always found science easy and just sort of fell into it. I hated English, French and other subjects like history. They just bored the nuts off me. Mind you, I lean more towards the physical sciences not things like biology which is just too much of a memory game.

I guess I was interested enough to choose all sciences for A-Levels, I basically did them as I felt like I was best at them. I really loved it at university though, it’s a completely different way of learning than at school. I hated having to remember loads of things for science A-Levels, whereas at university it was more about understanding different concepts, which I think suited me better.

I guess I was always curious and wanted understand some basic processes around me, I asked loads of questions. At school I was always enjoying biology, chemistry, physics and maths so it came to me sort of naturally.
