I find it really exciting learning new things about the world, even though its such a tiny thing and each small discovery doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things.

My favourite thing about science? I’ve done some cool stuff in my time and mostly it was aresult of my own drive and determination (as well as some PhD supervisors who let me do pretty much what ever I wanted). I think if I had to choose, my favourite thing is just finding a question and being able to answer it, this also flows into your everyday life. You have a problem, you think about it or just jump into it and gradually you work out how to fix something – when you do it is satisfying at the best of times.
