Physicists have been trying various ways to explain and study problems in physics. For example, the difference in strength between forces such as electromagentism and gravity. To do this, they have derived different theories, of which strong theory is one. Whilst it may be entirly abstract, people are more focused on creating mathematical solutions to basically describe everything. The development of strong theory is a little bit outside my field, I’m sure that if it was a proven and to be universally accepted, we would all be told about it. For now it remains a theory like all the others extentions to the standard model.

It is a difficult and complex question. The string theory itself is very interesting one and potentially could explain many things about universe and the world in general meaning. However to my knowledge even community of quantum physicists is still debating about details of this theory, some aspect of its definition in certain applications/concepts are not agreed. … I am not quantum physicist myself, many of the aspects of theory are very complex and far beyond my knowledge to fully gasp it with all the equations and calculations… However I think it is exciting moment to live in to observe how some concepts and theories, like string theory, are being better understood and still debated. That what I love about science in general and try to follow a little bit different fields, also beyond my direct interests and work, to know more and understand more about world around me.
