• Question: please tell me how an engine works ?

      It’s basiaclly suck, squeeze, bang blow… and now that you’ve stopped laughing…it’s basically a chemical reaction which provides a force to propel the car (either forward or backward). You start with an intake of fuel and air (the suck part) into the cylinder which is then put under pressure from the rising piston (squeeze). The compresed mixture of air and fuel is then ignited (bang!) forcing the piston down and turning the crank shaft. This then creates the force (torque) to accelerate the car. The exhaust or burnt gases are then expelled from the engine (the blow part). Make sence?
