Wow that’s a complex question. Now first of all I’m not from a biology background so I could be wrong! In my opinion I’d argue the cell membrane is (one of) the most important part(s) of the cell, apart from defining the boundary of the cell it also is vital to how the cell communicates and interacts with it’s environment. You could also argue that the nucleus (in cells that contain them) is the most important since it contains all of the genetic information the cell needs. A great question without a simple answer I’m afraid!
